Based on the experience of last year's Shell Eco-marathon 2011 participating team, the sponsors that supported last year's endeavour were given credit during a television interview with ANC, and different radio stations like Magic 89.9. They were also given exposure in the ABS-CBN portal and have been published alongside activity promotions in the Philippine Daily Inquirer, The Philippine Star, and Manila Bulletin, the three leading broadsheets in the Philippines. The team's project was also recognized in the Malacañang Palace by President Benigno Aquino III himself.
